Gail Robinson

Career

Gail qualified as a solicitor in 1988 and in the following year became an equity partner in Thackray Wood (now Thackray Williams) in Kent. Initially she dealt predominantly with residential property work eventually developing a specialism in leasehold enfranchisement which she dealt with exclusively from 1996 through to 2006 when she left the firm to relocate to Buckinghamshire. Since then Gail has worked in the West End of London handling high value enfranchisement and property work and joined JPC Law in January 2017.

Summary of work

Gail undertakes all non contentious aspects of leasehold enfranchisement work including collective enfranchisement and lease extensions under the Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act 1993, freehold acquisitions under the Leasehold Reform Act 1967, the exercise of the Right of First refusal under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987, voluntary freehold purchases and lease extensions in addition to licenses for alterations and assignments.

Gail prides herself on establishing a good relationship with her clients, ensuring they understand the process throughout and keeping her clients informed at every stage of the process. She will always work towards the outcome that is in the best interests of her clients.
