Wishful thinking..?
It is a fundamental principle of English Law that a contract cannot be created unless there is an intention to create a legally binding agreement.

Whilst it does not create new law, the High Court has recently handed down judgment in the case ofJeffrey Ross Blue v Michael James Wallace Ashley[2017]. The case concerns Mike Ashley - the founder of Sports Direct and the owner of premier league football team Newcastle United.
