International Update
We were privileged to have been invited to speak at this year’s LAWASIA conference in Berlin. Whilst the conference itself shall be hosted virtually given the current travel restrictions Niten shall be joined by JPC’s Head of Employment, Julie Edmonds to represent the UK on a panel of esteemed lawyers speaking from Germany, Malaysia and China.
This year’s European-Asian Annual Conference shall be focused on the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic and Julie shall be speaking on the State Measures implemented in the UK as well as the support provided to both individuals and businesses from changes in their areas of specialism, Insolvency Law and Employment Law, respectively.
The conference shall also be a good opportunity to compare and contrast the State Measures implemented in other jurisdictions and certainly in Germany, Malaysia and China from where the other panel members shall be speaking and presenting.

Hopefully, through LAWASIA’s aim of sharing knowledge lessons can be learned from one another to help us and most importantly our clients in what continues to be an uncertain and unforgiving legal landscape”
